DIY nyan cat iPod slider

Hi there! Today I want to show you how to ad this lovely Nyan Cat lock slider to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. Well, it all begun with me finding this thing called "Cydia" and at first I had to understand how it actually works.. you have to make a jailbreak.. thing I thought was difficult to make, but it isn't at all! You just have to go to this page and download the document, after that you can aft your little cat with the steps I show you in this small video:

ModCloth love

Well, today we just woke up and find this big box near to the front door... and in just a while I heard my sister scream "IT IS FROM MODCLOTH!" it is the first time she buys something on internet so she was totally exited, I mean.. I can remember the first time I opened a package of something I bought on Etsy, I was really happy, and as I didn't find any scissors I ended opening it with Remi's help. Well, after opening today's box we found this lovely stuff inside...

First of all, we found the Rubik handbag my sister ordered inside, I just got in love when I saw it! Then, my "Time to prioritize" tee. The Parasol her standing tee (I have to admit we are HUGE fans of The Beatles, and I mean huge!) That's why we ordered the little cute Yellow submarine ice cubes! Oh, and last but not least my new rainbow pants! Hope you like them!! Love, Monica.

DIY cassette necklace

Hello there! Well, today I want to show you how to make your very own cassette necklace. You just need a cassette, some scissors, and glue. Cut plastic tape inside and pull it out, then just paste both ends to the cassette. It is pretty simple, and easy to make. By the way you are recycling! Love, Monica

First days - going shopping

Okay, so there we were... in Orlando, but not in Disney. We decided to go shopping ('cause in the USA you can find lots of awesome things you can't in Mexico) There was this awesome mall :) I keep forcing myself to remember the name... I have bad memory. Anyways! We found one shop that I liked the best! I have a sweet tooth so you can imagine.

So, I got like an attack in that shop... I mean everything was made out of candy!! This is what I got there... (thanks mom!) 

Of course we bought candy.. but it didn't survived until today P:

Well, I really hope you are all enjoying your vacations! (in case you have some) I will post the pictures of my daily diary while we were in Disney's parks. We could go to all the parks, so we are quite satisfied : ) They are all awesome, I just wish I lived in the USA you have lots of great things there. I am also pretty impressed about Walt, he just got a great dream and never changed of mind, that's really breathtaking and inspiring for me : D

Colorful pancakes! Why not?

Well, today I was supposed to make the breakfast so I decided to make it.. a bit more happy! So.. I came out with colorful pancakes, they look great and taste better! I will give you some small tips for making pancakes (grandma's recipe ;) 

1. Try to add the flour after the liquid mixture has no bubbles! (: 

This will make your pancakes even more fluffy.

2. When adding the colorants I really recommend to add drop by drop... I know, it might be a lot slower but the results will be better! You will get the color you wanted ^^

3. Another idea is to make a mixture of black and paint with a dropper when your pancakes are still raw!

4 & 5. Let them rest for 2 minutes.. then place them again on the pan.. just a while! This kinda make the pancakes better when no one goes down for breakfast at time!

DIY floral sweater

Hi there!
Today I wanted to show you a small idea I got yesterday, what could I do with that old and a boring grey sweater? Well, I did something like this...

Well, for this lovely custom sweater you need:

- Felt

- Scissors 

- Spool & thread

First check the size of your sweater's button and cut a square that is almost the same size. With that one make a small flower (circle, rectangle, rose, triangle, or heart) and cut a small part in the middle of it. Sew your felt flower and try if the button fits inside the hole. After that you are done! I think this is really simple, but it is a great way to give a small twist to an old sweater. If you want to frequently change the small felt pieces, just skip the part of sewing and secure your felt flower at the end. I really hope you like this DIY project! (: I will post some fashion posts later (one of my new year's resolutions ^^) Oh, and don't worry if you couldn't make the flowers the size you needed them at the first time. (that happened to me too!) Keep your flowers! I made another DIY for the ones you didn't used!! :D

Homemade Strawberry jam

Today in the morning I didn't know what to eat... my sister said that some toasted bread and jam would bee great, and well, I agreed with her! The only problem was that we didn't know a small thing about making jam. Like always... we called our grammy!
